We were looking for a local speech therapy office to bridge the gap during the summer for my daughter and we really lucked out!  We had an AMAZING experience at Speech-N-Motion and my daughter showed such incredible improvement that we continued during the school year as well.  We worked with Marissa who was SO great but honestly the whole staff was incredibly friendly and helpful.  I've already recommended to several other parents!

"Speech N Motion is more than speech therapy, it's a family. My son has been a client since he was 2 years old. He had zero word after experiencing speech regression at 20 months. If you see my kid in the office sometime you won't believe me because now he's talking up a storm. Marissa is such a blessing to our family. Her approach to my son's speech therapy is very fun and effective. He actually looks forward to therapy and is making more progress with Marissa than any other therapist he's seen! She is extremely knowledgeable about various speech issues and explains all treatment in a way that's easy to understand. "My son has significant speech and language delays and uses an iPad with an augmentative communication program (AAC) to communicate, called Proloquo2go. Rebecca has been able to help increase his sentences to 3-5 words and help him improve his use of verbs and adjectives instead of just nouns. She has taught him communication turn-taking and how to request items instead of just grabbing toys and books. We've noticed so much improvement since coming here over the past year, and our son really enjoys seeing Rebecca. She always has a big smile on her face and really loves what she does."

"Our daughter didn't begin speech therapy until she was a little older; after we realized her irregular speech patterns were not going to fix themselves.  By luck we found Rebecca!  At that time Rebecca was still working in private practice.  After the year that our daughter spent with Rebecca there and the progress we saw in Anna's speech, we eagerly encouraged Rebecca to reach for her dreams and open her own clinic-based therapy center.  We would follow her through it all, and happily!  Because of Rebecca's knowledge, patience, planning, thinking outside the box, playing, on going learning and hard work our daughter is no longer hindered by her speech.
